Hey! So i practiced for about 45 minutes today, and while it was fun, it's also slightly frustrating. It's annoying when I look at the music and know exactly what to do, but it's been so long since I've played that my hands are having a hard time connecting with my brain. So I just went way back and played some stuff that mentally was really easy until my hands found it easy too and I'm just going to keep going until my hands finally catch back up!

My first post!

So I started practicing today. I love playing, but I can't help but get slightly frustrated because it takes me a long time to read bass clef. I wonder if I should have started with the first piano book? Right now I am working on the first song in the Second book called "Down in the Valley", but it is taking some time to ge through it. So far I've practiced for about 15 minutes and have gotten through the first eight measures, but still mess up when I go back to play it. Is it normal for it to take such a long time to figure out what to play or should I have started with the First book?
